NCAA Men's Basketball Championship 2004 Tournament

Pick 8 teams + a wildcard for $19.95 with a chance to win $2,000. You get points for every game won multiplied by their seed. If you pick a low seed to go far and they do, it will pay off tremendously! The wildcard can be the same as your other 8 teams! For more points, you also get them for the score differential during a game!

Bullysports
The cost is $4.95 for 1 team, or $12.95 for 3 teams. Prizes are to be announced, but are normally pretty good. You can play 1 of 2 types of games - One shot where you pick once, or re-pick, where you can change each round. A great March Madness bracket challenge.
CDM has a very unique contest. Select 8 NCAA schools that you think will get you the most points. Elite 8 points are based on the school's seed and the round number of games won. Select the 4 regional winners and the overall champion for more points. After Round 2, select 2 bonus schools for even more points. $10 to enter, 3 for $25. Win $3,000 for 1st place.

Forget brackets! Unique point-style contest keeps you interested all tournament. Just $10 per entry.  This contest is definitely different in that you pick 16 teams and get points for points, rebounds, etc. and the points are increase every round.

This pay $10 contest offers a $1000 grand prize.  The points are progressive throughout the tournament and lower seeds winning will receive bonus points in the first 3 rounds of the NCAA tournament.
$20 entry fee and you are put in a 20 person league. The Top 4 in each league wins cash. You pick 8 teams, with each assigned a dollar value. You then get points for every win, plus points by seed. A very unique contest.
Is a $10 or $20 fee not enough for you, then move up to the big leagues! The entry fee is $99 and you are randomly put into a 10 person league, where the top 5 earn cash - $500 for first place.

 Fantasycup
You have to anti-up $25.00 to play (Buy 3 get 1 free), but the winner gets $10,000, with 50th place still receiving $50!  Places 51-100 get a basketball and places 101-500 get a T-Shirt.  If the impossible "perfect bracket" is chosen, the winner gets $1,000,000.  The points scale up as the rounds progress, from 2 points for the first round to 20 points for the championship game - plus 1 point for each seed ranking.

The most unique aspect is that you can swap up to 25% of the teams after each round, but you must make your changes before the start of the next round - ie. you can change up to 8 teams after the first round.  If you make no changes, you can receive 25 bonus points.  This site earns an A+ for originality.

Marching2Madness
The cost is $24.99 or $19.99 for 2 or more each. In this contest, you pick 1 round at a time during March Madness. The you must return to the site to pick every week! The lower the seed, the more points are won for a given entry.  Prizes are cash for the top 25 places, with a $5000 grand prize if enough people enter.

Marchmadnet
New this year is a $9.95 entry fee with a $500 grand prize. This site runs a little different, The you must return to the site to pick every week!  

Pick 65
This pay-to-play site offers private pools for $9.95 for 100 players. Pool managers can offer a variety of prizes for an additional fee.

Whole Lotta Stuff
This $20 pay-to-play site offers a 100% return of entry fees.  The points increase per round and there are bonus points for picking underdogs.  Therer are a lot of great chances to earn money playing.
A unique site where for $15 your can play for a $2000 grand prize and other cash prizes. In the contest you pick 16 players from a fixed list of 128. You get a point for the players points, rebounds, and assists.
Win 50% of the pool money, with 25% going to 2nd place. NOT UPDATED FOR 2004 YET
Actually a free contest, but you must be an "active" member to play the free games.

Costs $5 to play, 60% to winner, 25% 2nd, 15% third. You must be invited to play.
Run your contest here for a reasonable charge. The cost is $4.99 for 10 players to $29.99 for over 100 players. Looks to be a great interface for custom contests.
